About Arni Cheatham

In more than 25 years as jazz saxophonist, Arni Cheatham has appeared with such notables as Jimmy Giuffre, Charlie Persip, Rahsaan Roland Kirk and Son Seals, and has opened for legends Cab Calloway and Gary Burton. For more than two decades, Cheatham has played lead alto with The Aardvark Jazz Orchestra, which Jazz Times called "a refreshing breath of spirited yet structured rebellion from the tried and true," and CD Review cheered as "exhilarating,...hale, hearty, eclectic, and rambunctious."
