Music by American Women Composers (flute, alto flute and piano), featuring the magnificent yet seldom-heard "Sonata in A minor Opus 34" by Amy Beach, Sonata Opus 22 by Marion Bauer, "Masks" by Katherine Hoover (evoking Native American and African American masks), and Elizabeth Vercoe's "Kleemation" (2003), inspired by drawings of Paul Klee. Vercoe has been called "one of the most inventive composers working in America today" (The Washington Post). Gala Vocal Chamber Concert, with Grammy-nominated mezzo-soprano D'Anna Fortunato.
